Tea of the Week: Rooibos Mango Tea
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
Usually I just keep track in my head. Sometimes, I use Goodreads just to browse and see what books I would be interested in, but I usually keep track by titles in my head.
Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?
Oh definitely print. I seriously have very few e-books on my TBR list.
A Book That’s Been On Your TBR List The Longest
A Gathering of Shadows by V.E Schwab. I probably need to reread A Darker Shade of Magic before getting in to the second book in the series too.
A Book You Recently Added To Your TBR
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
The Gentleman Bastards are masters of deception, disguise and fine cuisine. Father Chains, their “garrista” (leader), is a priest of the Crooked Warden, the god of thieves. He buys troublesome six-year-old Locke for his gang. Through a series of confidence tricks on the rich, they defy the Secret Peace, an unspoken agreement between the criminal underground and the Duke’s government which allows for the existence of organized crime with the understanding that the peerage and the servants of justice are off limits.
This book just sounds really amazing, and I’ve heard wonderful things about it.
A Book In Your TBR Strictly Because of Its Beautiful Cover
Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude
by Ross Gay
To be honest, I wasn’t even sure what this was really about until I was going through my TBR to answer this question.
Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude is a sustained meditation on that which goes away—loved ones, the seasons, the earth as we know it—that tries to find solace in the processes of the garden and the orchard. That is, this is a book that studies the wisdom of the garden and orchard, those places where all—death, sorrow, loss—is converted into what might, with patience, nourish us
A Book On Your TBR That You Never Plan on Reading
I like Ruta Sepetys, but I really don’t have an inclination to read any of her other books.
An Unpublished Book on Your TBR That You’re Excited For
by Heather Demetrios.
I just heard about this one recently, not only is the plot amazing, but the cover itself is really beautiful.
Grace wants out. Out of her house, where her stepfather wields fear like a weapon and her mother makes her scrub imaginary dirt off the floors. Out of her California town, too small to contain her big city dreams. Out of her life, and into the role of Parisian artist, New York director—anything but scared and alone.
A Book On Your TBR That Basically Everyone’s Read But You
Shhhhhhhh I know, I know, I KNOW!
A Book On Your TBR That Everyone Recommends To You
See, post above. I know I have to read it, but I just haven’t gotten around to it yet!
A Book On Your TBR That You’re Dying To Read
Oh my god this book.
I just need to finish this series in all honesty.
How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?
133. I really don’t use Goodreads as much as I should. I’m definitely trying to work on that.
So this was The TBR Tag! I hope you guys enjoy it, I definitely did. Let me know if you guys have done this tag or want to do this tag in the comments. As for the people I am tagging, that would be you guys!
