About

Hey friends!

My name is Gabrielle and in 2016 I went on a quest to read one book a day for the entire year. It was crazy, fantastic, and surprisingly did not put me off reading forever. Since I’ve finished that challenge, I’ve decided to revamp my blog here a little bit. I’ve been posting book related videos on my youtube channel for the past few years, and decided to move that content here as well. I just finished the first draft of my VERY FIRST novel, and wanted a more concrete, blogging style experience to chronicle my writing journey. And! I’ve brought a friend! Say hi to Christian, he’s been helping me out with react style videos on my youtube channel and has a lot to say about writing, editing, and publishing in general.

Salutations,

My name is Christian Castillo and I was roped into this strange and wonderful world that is FrumiousReads. Honestly, it’s like a roller coaster with n safety harness or end in sight. It’s pretty awesome. I write a lot about reading, writing, editing, and everything in between. I’m also a freelance editor who’s available if you have anything you need edited (creative pieces, technical works, etc.) so feel free to reach out on our contact page.

  1. Thanks so much for following The Write Edge Bookshelf! I hope you find the reviews there interesting and informative. Maybe you can even find a book or two to add to your ambitious goal for this year. I really admire and — I have to be honest — envy you. I wish I could read a book a day! Oh, to be in college again… [insert sigh of longing here]

I’m also an indie author, so if you’re interested in reviewing any of my books please don’t hesitate to let me know. Have a wonderful week!
