Being able to buy stuff without having to deal with the madness that encompasses holiday sales? Sign me right up. So, in the spirit of giving, I figured I'd help some fellow bookworms out with some good places to shop, for themselves or others.
Today I just wanted to make a quick little post addressing some of the points that I made in my Very Bookish Thanksgiving video which you can watch here. There are five bookish things that I am very thankful for, plus one non bookish thing that I feel is important to say.
The Hinterland is not a place for kindness, but a cruel, beautiful mistress and that basically sums up the entirety of the book. We don't get kind characters, sweet characters. We get characters who are made of things more feral than what you usually get in fairytales, and it wouldn't work for any other book than this one.
